Iris "Blacklight"
Taking elements of rock, glitch, retro electronic, and coloring it with a decidedly melodic worldview, Iris is a band that's hard to classify. Since 2002, Reagan Jones and Andrew Sega have been working under the radar with a sound that conjures a collision between mid-90's Depeche Mode, post-punk, and the spirit of old country songs.
Never one to rest on their laurels, their fourth studio release, "Blacklight" is a darkly progressive affair - 9 songs of haunting, crisply produced tracks, mixing 4AD-esque atmospheres with tight, firm beats.
Available September 3rd (Worldwide)
CD pre-orders are being handled by A Different Drum
EU release through Infacted Recordings
Digital release will be available through most retailers: iTunes, Amazon MP3, Rhapsody, etc

Low Technicians "Riga"
Riga, the latest CD from Low Technicians, showcases an updated mindset from Brad MacAllister and Brian Pearson, as they continue to explore the melding of Pop/Rock and Dance/Electronic music.
Much more electronic than the previous "Remembrance", "Riga" uses guitars more sparingly and texturally, and blends diverse influences from European Synth-Pop and Trance to Jamaican Dub and Indie Rock.
